Job Summary
Fanatics Collectibles is seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven HR Associate to support the day-to-day execution of core HR processes and contribute to a high-quality employee experience. Reporting to the HR team, this role will act as a foundational resource for employees and managers, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and responsiveness across HR activities.
This position is best suited for an early-career HR professional looking to build capability across employee relations, HR operations, and talent processes within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Service Delivery
β’ Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely and accurate guidance on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
β’ Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless and compliant employee lifecycle experience.
β’ Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems, including job changes, promotions, and status updates.
β’ Assist with leave administration and benefits-related processes in coordination with People Operations.
Employee Relations Support
β’ Escalate and support resolution of employee concerns in partnership with senior HR team members.
β’ Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee matters.
β’ Contribute to a positive workplace environment through consistent and fair application of HR policies.
HR Programs & Initiatives
β’ Provide administrative and coordination support for performance management cycles, engagement initiatives, and recognition programs.
β’ Assist with scheduling, documentation, and follow-ups related to talent reviews and workforce planning activities.
β’ Support internal communications related to HR programs and policy updates.
Compliance & Process Excellence
β’ Ensure HR practices align with company policies and applicable employment laws.
β’ Support audits and reporting requirements by maintaining organized and accurate records.
β’ Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to scaling HR systems and workflows.
Data & Reporting
β’ Assist in generating basic HR reports (e.g., headcount, turnover, onboarding metrics).
β’ Maintain trackers and dashboards to support HR team visibility into key metrics.
Qualifications
Required
β’ 1β3 years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, or a related field.
β’ Foundational knowledge of HR processes, including onboarding, employee relations, and data management.
β’ Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
β’ Effective communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
β’ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
β’ High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
Preferred
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
β’ Exposure to HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, or similar).
β’ Interest in sports, collectibles, or digital consumer platforms.
β’ Progress toward HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
