About the Role
We are seeking a Helpdesk Analyst / Systems Administrator to join a small technical team supporting users of a customer-facing application. This role combines helpdesk support, system administration, and occasional development assistance to ensure reliable operations.
Key Responsibilities
- βServe as the primary point of contact for application-related support requests and helpdesk inquiries
- βTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues including user permissions, account access, database updates, and application functionality concerns
- βPerform system administration tasks related to application environments, user accounts, and configuration management
- βDocument issue resolutions and maintain internal knowledge base articles
- βCreate detailed support tickets for development teams when code changes are required
- βAssist with small development enhancements or technical improvements
- βMonitor application logs and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve system issues
- βCollaborate with development, product, and security teams to ensure smooth application operations
- βMaintain clear documentation of support processes and technical updates
Requirements
- βActive Secret security clearance
- βCompTIA Security+ certification
- β2β4 years of experience in helpdesk support, IT support, or system administration roles
- βExperience performing routine technical support tasks such as account creation, permission updates, database modifications, and certificate troubleshooting
- βStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across application and system environments
- βExperience using ticketing systems to track and document technical work
- βExperience reviewing application logs and monitoring tools to identify system issues
