About the Role
Fehr & Peers is seeking an experienced Transportation Planner to join our growing team. This role involves developing innovative multimodal transportation solutions, managing projects, guiding entry-level staff, and fostering client relationships. Key Responsibilities
- →Manage transportation planning projects and tasks to deliver high-quality client deliverables
- →Conduct business development through client outreach, relationship building, proposal writing, and presentations
- →Foster the growth of junior staff by guiding their technical development and consulting skills
- →Engage with clients and stakeholders through outreach materials, meetings, presentations, workshops, surveys, and exercises
- →Analyze and solve complex transportation planning or engineering problems involving all travel modes
Requirements
- ✓4-10 years of relevant work experience in traffic analysis, safety assessment, transportation planning, or travel demand modeling
- ✓Bachelor's or master's degree in transportation planning, urban planning, transportation engineering, or related field
- ✓Demonstrated experience in identifying and securing project work through client and partner relationships
- ✓Excellent technical writing and public speaking skills
- ✓Experience with project management and marketing
- ✓Strong interpersonal skills, collaboration desire, and creative problem-solving approach
- ✓Willingness to travel to other geographic markets as needed
