About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer with a focus on front end development to join our team at Findhelp. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our platform that seamlessly integrates our nationwide system of social-services. This is a mission-driven role focused on connecting people in need to the programs that serve them with dignity and ease.

→Provide quality feedback in code reviews and be willing to pair on coding tasks
→Own work from inception to delivery, and beyond
→Mentor other engineers and foster their growth
→Cares about pixel perfect presentation and has worked with designers to translate their ideas into code

Requirements

✓5+ years of UI focused development working with React, Remix or other front end frameworks
✓A strong understanding of JavaScript when not used in a framework
✓Experience coding for and/or maintaining a component library
✓A strong testing ethic and an understanding of quality tests and front end testing platforms
✓Experience migrating UIs from other frameworks or templating systems
✓Enthusiastic, highly motivated with an ability to learn quickly
✓Experience implementing and maintaining accessibility compliance (WCAG, a11y principles)
✓Has ideas about optimizing design to code time with modern assistive coding technologies
