What You'll Be Doing:
β’ Design digital assets including social media posts, ads, presentations, infographics, and web content
β’ Support campaign and content design across multiple channels and platforms
β’ Collaborate closely with marketing strategists, copywriters, inbound marketers and developers
β’ Translate brand guidelines into cohesive, thumb-stopping digital visuals
β’ Create templates and reusable assets for internal and client-facing use
β’ Explore AI-powered design tools and techniques to increase efficiency and innovation
β’ Work with platforms like Canva and Figma to build scalable design systems and templates

β’ Contribute to creative direction: take an active role in shaping creative direction for internal and client projects, ensuring designs align with ourβs and client goals, brand identity and industry standards. 
β’ Translate positioning, research & marketing strategies into effective designs.
β’ Make use of critical design thinking skills to help make informed & thoughtful decisions about your work. This aids in creating effective and innovative designs that meet the needs and goals of the target audience.
β’ Make use of user-centred design skills to ensure your work is informed by the needs and experience of the people who will be using the designs. Ensure all design is in keeping with user experience, usability & design best practices.
β’ Research and innovation: stay up-to-date on emerging design trends, technologies and industry best practices, and collaborate with other team members to incorporate innovative design elements into projects to maintain a competitive edge. 
β’ Quality assurance: conduct quality assurance checks on design deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency and quality of work.
β’ Team leadership and mentorship: provide leadership and mentorship to other designers, guiding them in developing or fine tuning design skills, fostering creativity and achieving project goals.  
β’ Design reviews: collaborate in design reviews and provide and take constructive feedback to ensure high-quality design deliverables that meet project requirements. 
β’ Improve processes: review and refine the current design processes collaboratively to ensure high quality projects and timely delivery. 
 
Day-to-day
β’ Conduct industry, competitor and brand research for Flint and for clientsβ design requirements.
β’ Liaise and collaborate with project/account managers on design briefs.
β’ Attend project kick off briefings to understand the scope & requirements.
β’ Run & contribute to creative brainstorm sessions to share ideas for projects.
Web & App Related
β’ Produce sketches, wireframes & user journeys for user experience.
β’ Create moodboards, mock-ups, UI kits & interactive prototypes as part of interface & user experience design.
β’ Generate visual assets for websites, web apps & mobile apps such as banners, in-content imagery, product images etc.
β’ Design & build landing pages in Unbounce and ActiveCampaign.
Inbound Marketing
β’ Collaborate with the team to produce engaging visual assets for internal & clientβs social media content calendars, social media accounts setups including cover images & other required visuals as required.
β’ Produce assets for paid and organic campaigns including overarching key visuals, social posts, ad banners or visuals, video or animated content, and web banners. These should be designed with the respective platformsβ best practices & guidelines e.g. sizes, dimensions, formats, policies etc.
β’ Create high value content pieces such as infographics, ebooks and other interactive pieces (Typeform quizzes, etc.).
β’ Design & build email templates & email campaigns in Mailchimp, Ortto or ActiveCampaign, or similar platforms.
Animation/Motion Graphic
β’ Source references for animation projects.
β’ Create & design visual references based on requirements.
β’ Create & design storyboards aligned with the approved script.
β’ Prepare assets to share with the animator(s).
 
Required Technical Skills
β’ Proficient experience with user interface design patterns, user experience, developing personas, user journeys and wireframes etc.
β’ Advanced experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Media Encoder, XD, (or similar) - the Adobe Creative Cloud
β’ Solid experience with Figma for UX/UI design
β’ In-depth understanding of design principles and fundamentals (layout, composition, visual hierarchy, contrast, balance etc.)
β’ In-depth understanding of the digital landscape including inbound marketing, social media, responsive web design, etc.
β’ Thorough understanding of usability and user experience - user-centred design.
β’ Creative thinker, strong conceptual thinking skills
β’ Keen eye for aesthetics and visually appealing content
β’ Able to clearly present design ideas and concepts for projects and campaigns
