We are looking for a Mid-Senior Digital Designer who brings advanced design expertise, leadership, and a strong sense of innovation to our team. This role goes beyond executionβyou will lead the mid and junior-level designers, collaborating closely with strategists and developers to deliver high-impact digital experiences across multiple platforms.  What Youβll Be Doing?
β’ Lead the design direction on projects, from concept to final delivery.
β’ Create high-quality digital assets for web, social, campaigns, presentations, and more.
β’ Collaborate with strategists, copywriters, and developers to deliver cohesive creative work.
β’ Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and constructive feedback.
β’ Develop and maintain design systems, templates, and brand guidelines.
β’ Explore and experiment with Canva and AI-powered tools (e.g., Midjourney, Adobe Firefly) to enhance efficiency and innovation.
β’ Balance hands-on design work with providing creative direction and input.

Strategic and leadership
β’ Lead and contribute to creative direction: shaping the vision for internal and client projects, facilitating ideation workshops and design sprints, and ensuring innovative, user-centered solutions that align with business goals, brand identity, and industry standards.
β’ Define, drive, and maintain agency-wide design standards, ensuring consistency and excellence across all projects.
β’ Translate insights into impact: turn positioning, research, and marketing strategies into effective, innovative design solutions.
β’ Apply design thinking: make informed decisions that balance creativity, functionality, and business needs, creating designs that resonate with target audiences.
β’ Champion user-centred design: ensure all work reflects user experience, usability, and design best practices to deliver intuitive, impactful outcomes.
β’ Act as a thought leader: stay ahead of emerging design/tech trends and embed them into the agencyβs creative culture.
β’ Drive research and innovation: integrate new technologies and industry best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
β’ Provide leadership and mentorship: coach mid- and junior-level designers, offering constructive critique, actionable feedback, and guidance to foster growth and creativity.
β’ Lead and participate in design reviews: promote a culture of constructive feedback and continuous improvement.
β’ Ensure quality assurance: oversee checks on deliverables to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and excellence.
β’ Refine and improve processes: evaluate and evolve design workflows to enhance team efficiency, scalability, and timely delivery of high-quality projects.
β’ Partner with leadership and client teams: influence design strategy and business-level creative decisions.
 
Day-to-day
β’ Conduct industry, competitor and brand research and gather inspiration for Flint and for clientsβ design requirements.
β’ Liaise and collaborate with project/account managers on design briefs.
β’ Attend project kick off briefings and set creative direction for projects.
β’ Lead & contribute to brainstorm sessions and guide the creative process.
β’ Leverage AI design tools for ideation, workflow, and innovation.
β’ Create high-quality digital assets for web, campaigns, presentations, and social.
β’ Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, design systems, and reusable templates.
 
Web & App Related
β’ Produce and oversee sketches, wireframes, sitemaps, user journeys, and interactive prototypes for web and app experiences.
β’ Direct and create moodboards, UI kits, and mock-ups that align with project goals and brand standards.
β’ Deliver high quality visual assets for websites, web apps, and mobile apps, including banners, in-content imagery, and product visuals.
β’ Incorporate interactivity, animations, and transitions to improve engagement.
β’ Ensure designs are optimized for performance, usability, and accessibility.
 
Inbound Marketing
β’ Oversee creative direction and produce assets for social media, ads, and email campaigns across internal and client projects that adhere to best practices and brand guidelines.
β’ Lead the creation of high-value content, including infographics, ebooks, and interactive publications. 
 
Animation/Motion Graphic (Optional)
β’ Lead creation of visual references for animation projects aligned with requirements and strategy.
β’ Oversee storyboard design to reflect scripts and project goals.
 
Required Technical Skills
β’ Expect interface patterns, user journeys, personas, wireframes, and prototypes etc.
β’ Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.
β’ Advanced experience with scalable UI systems, component libraries, and prototypes.
β’ Advanced experience with Figma for UI design.
β’ In-depth understanding of design principles and fundamentals (layout, composition, visual hierarchy, typography, color, and aesthetics etc.)
β’ In-depth understanding of the digital landscape including inbound marketing, social media, responsive web design, and campaigns. 
β’ Creative & conceptual thinker, innovative problem solving with strategic application of design.
β’ Proficient in AI-powered design and generative tools to enhance workflow and creativity.
β’ Thorough understanding of usability and user experience - user-centred design.
β’ Exceptional eye for detail, aesthetics, and creating visually appealing content that resonates with users.
β’ Able to clearly present and explain design ideas to clients, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
β’ Ability to mentor, guide, and inspire junior and mid-level designers, establishing design standards and best practices.
β’ Experienced in creating reusable templates, and efficient workflows that ensure consistency and high-quality delivery.
