About the Role
We are looking for a Data Engineer to build FLORA's data function from scratch. This is the first data hire at the company, working directly with the CTO and Head of Product to define data strategy and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- →Audit existing PostHog data, events, and user behaviors
- →Design and implement data models with solid metadata collection
- →Stand up data infrastructure, warehousing, and processing pipelines
- →Evaluate and select core technologies
- →Build executive-level BI dashboards that drive product and growth decisions
Requirements
- ✓6+ years in data engineering or analytics engineering
- ✓Proven ability to work independently as the first data hire
- ✓Deep SQL fluency and strong fundamentals in at least 1 modern data warehouse
- ✓Hands-on infrastructure experience setting up pipelines and making tooling decisions
- ✓Strong product instincts and real business curiosity
- ✓A hypothesis-driven approach to data analysis
- ✓Comfort in hypergrowth environments
- ✓Availability to work in-person 5 days a week (non-negotiable)
