About the Role
Fluidstack is seeking a Network Security Engineer to lead their security strategy and defend their cloud platform. This role involves designing and deploying advanced safeguards for the network perimeter, ensuring security, resilience, and reliability at scale. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in network security engineering and a passion for fostering a security-first culture.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and deploy advanced safeguards for the network perimeter
- →Create and maintain sophisticated DDoS-defense programs
- →Lead the rollout of a Zero-Trust model across Fluidstack’s cloud and network domains
- →Stand up comprehensive network-security monitoring to surface threats early
- →Collaborate with Networking, Infrastructure, SRE/DevOps, and Software Engineering teams
- →Champion security initiatives and cultivate a security-first culture
- →Author, refine, and enforce security policies and SOPs
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience in hands-on network-security engineering
- ✓Deep expertise in edge-protection technologies
- ✓Strong conceptual and practical command of modern cloud and network security
- ✓Demonstrated ability to own security programs end-to-end
- ✓Excellent at partnering with various teams to craft security solutions
- ✓Skilled in crafting and evaluating security controls for scalable systems
