About the Role
We are looking for a Sales Manager for Ireland to lead Flywire’s presence in the Irish Higher Education market. This unique role combines new business development with relationship management to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- →Expand market presence by hunting and closing net-new opportunities in the Irish Higher Education sector
- →Drive platform utilization by analyzing client transaction data and implementing strategies to position Flywire as the primary payment method
- →Develop and execute a strategic territory plan for Ireland to meet and exceed annual revenue targets
- →Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, managing the full sales cycle from discovery to close
- →Lead and manage tender responses and RFPs for the Irish market
- →Champion the move from manual processes to fully integrated payment flows
- →Serve as the trusted advisor for our Irish portfolio, conducting regular business reviews
- →Secure contract renewals and defend the client base against competitors
- →Act as the "Voice of the Irish Customer" internally, feeding back market-specific requirements
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience in sales within the Higher Education sector
- ✓Strong understanding of payment systems and ERPs
- ✓Experience with Salesforce and managing the full sales cycle
- ✓Ability to develop strategic territory plans and meet revenue targets
- ✓Excellent relationship management and client success skills
- ✓Experience with tender responses and RFP management
- ✓Strong analytical skills to identify gaps in capture rates
- ✓Ability to work autonomously and drive technical integrations
