Te Tūranga – About the role
As aQuality Assurance Engineer – TOSCA, you’ll play a hands‑on role in modernising how quality is delivered across Foodstuffs North Island. You’ll design, build, and maintain automated testing solutions using Tricentis TOSCA, ensuring our ERP and COTS platforms are reliable, scalable, and fit for the future.
You’ll work closely with Agile delivery squads, SAP Functional Consultants, and technical specialists to embed quality thinking across the SDLC — not just testing at the end. This is a technical individual contributor role where your influence comes through expertise, collaboration, and advocacy for quality.
Operating in a fast‑paced FMCG environment, you’ll help ensure quality across SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and our Web, Mobile, API, Data, and POS platforms.
In this role, you will:
Actively contribute to Agile delivery squads, collaborating across disciplines to achieve sprint goals.
Partner with SAP Functional Consultants and SMEs to translate business requirements into robust TOSCA automation assets.
Create and execute Micro Test Plans to validate user stories within each sprint.
Design and implement Macro Test Plans to ensure end‑to‑end testing of quarterly BRP features and complex integrations.
Design, develop, and maintain TOSCA automated test scripts, scenarios, data, and cases across GUI, API, and service layers.
Contribute to and uplift our TOSCA automation frameworks, supporting our automation‑first strategy.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
Log, manage, and communicate defects clearly, collaborating with squads and Product Owners to resolution.
Advocate for quality thinking across design, build, and delivery — not just test execution.
Contribute to the QA Engineering Practice through knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and mentoring.
