About The Role
Fora is seeking a Product Manager, Advisor Enablement to join our growing product development team. This role sits within a cross-functional pod of Product Management, Design, Product Operations, and Engineering responsible for building and evolving the core tools that power our advisor experience. The Product Manager will contribute across the full product development lifecycle, from discovery and research through launch and iteration, while partnering closely with a senior PM and pod stakeholders. This is an opportunity for a developing product manager to take meaningful ownership of feature-level work, build strong product instincts, and operate in a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment.
As part of the Advisor Enablement pod, this role supports the tools advisors use to run their businesses day to day, including trip management, proposals and itineraries, AI-powered features, and workflow automation. The Product Manager works closely with advisors and internal stakeholders to ensure products are intuitive, efficient, and aligned with real user needs. This role is primarily focused on product management, but operates within a lean team that values flexibility across disciplines. In practice, this may include supporting product marketing efforts such as shaping feature messaging, contributing to launch communications, and helping drive advisor adoption of new tools.
Key Responsibilities
Develop a deep understanding of customers:
β’ Support a practice of understanding customer problems deeply β not just reacting to feature requests.
β’ Participate in customer interviews, synthesize feedback, and help translate insights into clear problem statements.
β’ Work alongside your PM to develop intuition for what advisors need, even when they can't articulate it themselves.
Contribute across the product development process:
β’ Participate in the full product development cycle: from research and discovery, to design and prototyping, to implementation and QA.
β’ Write clear, well-scoped specs and requirements that help your team move quickly without losing context.
β’ Help explore alternatives before the team aligns on a solution, grounding decisions in evaluation criteria and evidence.
Support decision-making and reduce ambiguity:
β’ Help frame problems clearly using evidence and structured thinking.
β’ Assist in documenting hypotheses, assumptions, and success metrics for features you own or contribute to.
β’ Escalate open questions clearly and proactively so decisions don't get stuck.
Care about quality and outcomes:
β’ Sweat the details on the product that ships, not just the process of getting there.
β’ Support QA and launch readiness, and stay engaged post-launch to understand adoption and gather feedback.
Flex into product marketing when needed:
β’ Help shape messaging and positioning for new features as they go to market.
β’ Contribute to advisor-facing communications, release notes, and adoption materials.
β’ Partner with the team to ensure new capabilities land well β not just that they ship.
Collaborate well:
β’ Work closely and respectfully with peers in Product Design, Product Ops, and Engineering.
β’ Communicate clearly and listen well β in writing, in meetings, and in conversations with advisors.
Requirements
β’ 2-4 years of product management experience, or equivalent experience in a highly analytical, cross-functional, or customer-facing role
β’ Experience owning or contributing to feature development in a cross-functional product environment with Engineering and Design
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn ambiguous input into clear, actionable outputs
β’ Comfort operating in a fast-paced, startup environment with evolving priorities and incomplete information
β’ Demonstrated product judgment and attention to detail, with the ability to identify issues and make thoughtful decisions in ambiguous situations
β’ Experience engaging with customers through interviews, feedback synthesis, or research
β’ Demonstrated interest in AI, including hands-on experimentation or exploration of AI tools and capabilities
β’ Ability to work in person in New York City
Strongly Preferred
β’ Experience in product marketing or contributing to go-to-market efforts
β’ Experience working on both B2B and consumer-facing products
β’ Experience in startup or growth-stage environments
β’ Familiarity with tools or products related to workflow management, automation, or AI-enabled features
Compensation
