About the Role
We are looking for a Data Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers responsible for the design, delivery, and reliability of our data platform. This role combines technical depth with delivery leadership, focusing on building scalable data systems that power marketing, revenue, and analytics decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead a squad of 10–15 engineers in building scalable data systems
- →Drive design and best practices, mentor engineers
- →Partner with Program Management to ensure high-quality releases
- →Contribute to architectural reviews and solution design
- →Ensure scalable pipeline design and adherence to data modeling principles
- →Oversee implementation and optimization of workflows in GCP
- →Drive observability, cost efficiency, and data quality
- →Translate stakeholder requirements into robust technical designs
- →Review designs, pull requests, and pipelines for scalability
Requirements
- ✓10+ years of total experience in data or software engineering
- ✓2+ years leading teams
- ✓Deep expertise in SQL, Python, and modern ELT tools
- ✓Strong understanding of data modeling, orchestration, and optimization in GCP
- ✓Experience building or scaling data pipelines for marketing or monetization
- ✓Proven ability to lead delivery within agile sprints
- ✓Excellent communication and leadership skills in distributed teams
