About the Role
We are looking for a Robotic Systems Integration Engineer to join Formlabs, a company that builds tools for 3D printing technology used by industry leaders worldwide. This role involves supporting the product development cycle from R&D to engineering for shipped products, collaborating with design teams to ensure quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- →Integrate firmware and hardware to enable subsystems in the printing pipeline, delivering functional 3D printer prototypes
- →Define and implement control algorithms and calibration procedures for complex electro-mechanical and electro-optical subsystems
- →Develop sensor-based subsystems and characterize sensor performance
- →Define and manage subsystem and system level requirements
- →Debug system level issues and work with engineering teams to implement design fixes
Requirements
- ✓Knowledge of motion control, sensors, and control algorithms
- ✓Experience managing system and subsystem requirements
- ✓Experience in hardware debugging
- ✓Comfortable working across engineering disciplines
- ✓Comfortable working on Linux systems and scripting with Python
