Product Manager at FortuneBrands

As a Product Manager in the Moen B2C Business, you will support product lines within the Showering category, contributing to product development, commercialization, and lifecycle management initiatives. You will play an important role in supporting the success of these products by helping deliver consumer-focused solutions that align with business goals and evolving market needs. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, marketing, sales, and finance to help ensure Moen products reach the right customers through the right channels, at the right value. You will also work alongside engineering partners and global suppliers to better understand product design, technical capabilities, and cost drivers, helping translate complex technical concepts into clear and meaningful consumer benefits. Your contributions will help support category growth and strengthen Moen’s position across retail and wholesale markets. You should bring 3+ years of product management experience in manufacturing or consumer durables, along with experience working within a stage-gate product development process and partnering with cross-functional teams. What you will be doing: • Support and help execute the product strategy for assigned Showering product lines within the Moen portfolio, aligning with customer needs and overall business goals. • Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to scope and support new product development initiatives. • Review product concepts, technical specifications, and engineering designs to better understand product functionality, cost considerations, and opportunities to deliver meaningful consumer benefits. • Collaborate with global manufacturing and overseas supplier partners to ensure shared understanding of product specifications, cost targets, and production readiness. • Help guide product launches through the stage-gate process to support timely and high-quality execution. • Work together with Sales, Channel Marketing, and Revenue Growth Management teams to align on pricing, positioning, and go-to-market plans. • Contribute to product business cases by helping analyze cost structures, pricing strategies, and margin targets to support internal alignment and customer discussions. • Monitor product performance and support lifecycle planning, including new launches, portfolio updates, and end-of-life transitions. • Use consumer insights and competitive research to help identify opportunities and support thoughtful product decisions. • Partner with Brand, Marketing, and Digital teams to develop sales tools, promotional assets, and product content. • Maintain accurate product information across digital, print, and eCommerce channels, ensuring strong attention to detail in internal systems and documentation. • Provide training and guidance to internal teams and external partners on product features, category trends, and brand positioning. • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Sales teams and key customers to stay connected to market needs and priorities. • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that improve processes and support the broader Moen business.
