About the Role

We are looking for a Software Quality Manager to join FreedomPay, a fast-growing commerce company with a global presence. This role involves leading quality engineering teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality applications.

Key Responsibilities

→Provide direction, feedback, and career direction to engineers in cross-functional software engineering teams.
→Support teams in building and enhancing testing frameworks for the FreedomPay system.
→Ensure quality tasks are accomplished through the engineering group’s Agile practices.
→Develop a deep understanding of the FreedomPay system architecture.
→Ensure the proper evolution of testing frameworks and data.
→Foster a culture of continuous quality improvements.
→Partner with Devops and other supporting teams to implement testing as quality gates in a Continuous Testing system.
→Partner with performance engineers to incorporate performance measurements into functional testing.
→Develop a deep understanding of the payments business.

Requirements

✓3+ years of Managerial experience in software development with a focus on quality.
✓Reliable teammate and experienced leader.
✓Proven people leader that instills vision and confidence.
✓Proven project management experience to drive timely and quality deliveries.
✓Experience developing and maintaining successful test frameworks.
✓Experience testing a variety of applications.
✓Seasoned agile practitioner who uses the agile processes to ensure quality focused tasks are incorporated.
✓Experience influencing peers and decision makers to implement continuous testing and other quality focused initiatives.
✓Understanding of infrastructure applications.
✓Effective English communication skills (Listening, Speaking, Writing).
✓Must pass a criminal background check and credit check.
