About the Role
Front is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team on the Core Product Experience (CPX) team, which owns the heart of the Front application. This role involves managing a team of engineers delivering on an ambitious roadmap, making technical design and implementation decisions, and focusing on quality, performance, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- →Drive execution on a high-impact roadmap, turning product specs into features that shape how companies communicate with their customers.
- →Lead and grow a strong engineering team, coaching and developing engineers, attracting top talent, and fostering a culture of ownership and high standards.
- →Partner cross-functionally with Product Managers, Designers, and Data Analysts to define what to build and why.
- →Own technical quality, guiding the team through architectural decisions and ensuring reliability and scale.
- →Contribute to engineering leadership, shaping engineering-wide initiatives, processes, and culture.
- →Embrace AI to enhance engineering workflows and support the integration of AI-powered features into the core product experience.
Requirements
- ✓3+ years of engineering management experience, including recruiting, mentoring, and retaining high-performing engineers.
- ✓A strong track record of leading teams that deliver complex, ambiguous projects with high quality and on time.
- ✓Clear, structured thinking and excellent communication skills.
- ✓Experience with real-time, high-performance, or multi-product platforms.
- ✓Technical fluency in modern web technologies (TypeScript, React, Node.js).
