About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our Product Engineering team at Fullscript. This is a paid internship opportunity for students who are legally eligible to work full-time hours in Canada. You will gain valuable hands-on experience and the chance to learn at a fast-growing health technology company.
Key Responsibilities
- →Focus on improving skills in several languages and technologies, with a main focus on Ruby and Ruby on Rails
- →Be involved in project breakdowns, code reviews, and have a steady stream of deploys
- →Help write code for new features, update code, and fix bugs
- →Choose side development projects in other areas of interest
- →Experience the full workplace experience including onboarding, 1:1s with Tech Leads, mentorship, and feedback
Requirements
- ✓Currently pursuing or recently completed education in software engineering, computer science, or similar area
- ✓Legally entitled to work full-time in Canada
- ✓Previous internship/co-op experience, ideally in a team environment within a software company
- ✓Some experience, professional or project, with Ruby and/or Ruby on Rails
