About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to help design and scale the foundational systems that power our data ecosystem. This role focuses on leading the architecture and modernization of our data infrastructure, enabling teams to discover, access, and act on data quickly and securely.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, build, and maintain the Data Platform's foundational systems
- →Drive the modernization of our data infrastructure
- →Serve as a technical leader for large-scale Data Platform initiatives
- →Provide technical mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers
- →Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies in data systems
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of hands-on experience in architecting distributed system architecture
- ✓Product-minded approach with understanding of user experience and business outcomes
- ✓Demonstrated mentorship and leadership experience
- ✓Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- ✓Broad expertise across data systems engineering
- ✓Experience with modern data lakehouse and warehouse systems
- ✓Expertise in distributed data processing and streaming architectures
- ✓Experience working with large-scale datasets
- ✓Solid understanding of data modeling and data quality practices
