As a member of the Enterprise Reporting and Business Intelligence team, you will serve as a strategic bridge between data engineering and business end-users. You will play an end-to-end role in developing intuitive and interactive dashboards to empower GLG stakeholders to make informed, data-driven decisions. This position requires a proactive mindset to anticipate data gaps and needs as well as the ability to act as a connecting force within and across global teams.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Strategic Stakeholder Partnership: Develop a deep understanding of commercial, operational, and people data. Partner with key stakeholders to proactively anticipate data gaps and translate business questions into high-impact reporting and insights.
β’ Solution Engineering & Optimization: Master the existing suite of enterprise dashboards to drive adoption and cohesion. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing assets versus building net-new solutions to ensure a streamlined user experience.
β’ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with partners in Advanced Analytics, Product, Finance, Engineering, and Commercial Operations. Act as the glue between these teams, proactively surfacing opportunities and advocating for deeper partnership and involvement by specialist teams.
β’ Data Modeling & Strategy: Design and maintain effective LookML models and dashboards. Work closely with data engineers to integrate new data sources, improve data quality, and optimize data infrastructure to support long-term business goals.
β’ User Support, Empowerment, and Continuous Improvement: Facilitate the broad adoption of BI solutions by delivering training and proactive assistance, ensuring end-users are equipped to self-serve and derive value from data. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with dashboards and underlying databases while simultaneously documenting methodologies to ensure transparency and consistency across the enterprise.
Requirements
β’ Education: A bachelorβs degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
β’ SQL Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience working with relational databases and proficiency in SQL.
β’ BI Tool Proficiency: Solid working knowledge of one or more Enterprise Business Intelligence tools, specifically Looker, Tableau, QlikView, or Power BI.
β’ Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate between business and technical concepts.
β’ Technical Documentation: Strong ability to identify, define, and document business requirements, functionality, and systems.
β’ Autonomy: Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.
β’ Proficiency in version control tools like GitHub.
β’ A passion for acting as a consultant to the business, identifying trends and opportunities that others might miss.

Compensation: GLG is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. Certain roles may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
