Responsibilities • Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts. • Execute functional, regression, and performance tests to ensure software quality. • Identify, report, and track defects using bug tracking tools. • Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and provide feedback on technical specifications. • Perform root cause analysis of defects and recommend solutions. • Maintain and enhance automated testing frameworks. • Participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards are met. • Document testing processes and results for compliance and future reference. • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies. • Assist in the development of quality assurance metrics and reporting. • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing. Requirements • Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role in software quality assurance. • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools. • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). • Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) is a plus. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. Nice to Have • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter). • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE). • Experience with mobile testing and responsive design. • Understanding of web services testing (API testing). • Previous experience in a remote work environment.
