About the Role

We are looking for a Commercial Named Account Executive to join our team at GitLab. This role involves serving as the primary point of contact for prospective and existing customers within the mid-market segment, managing a diverse range of project sizes, and driving new business growth.

Key Responsibilities

→Meet or exceed sales quota while fostering strong customer relationships
→Articulate the value of GitLab to prospects and customers in the US Eastern region
→Take ownership of your book of business and document buying criteria and processes
→Build a strong pipeline through consistent prospecting activities
→Prospect and close new business to expand your territory
→Ensure adoption of our solutions and minimize churn
→Collaborate with the Partner ecosystem to drive new business
→Create accurate quarterly forecasts against your plan/budget
→Drive attendance to events for networking with customers
→Contribute to root cause analyses on wins and losses
→Communicate lessons learned to cross-functional teams
→Collaborate with Customer Success, Renewals, and Sales Development teams
→Be the voice of the customer by contributing product ideas
→Master MEDPICC and Command of the Message on all opportunities

Requirements

✓Demonstrated progressive experience with SaaS sales, preferably with development teams
✓Interest in GitLab and open source software
✓Ability to leverage established relationships and proven sales techniques
✓Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
✓Motivated, driven, and results-oriented
✓Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
✓Preferred experience with Git, Software Development Tools, and Application Lifecycle Management
✓Ability to travel regularly to meet with customers in person
