About the Role

We are looking for experienced Senior Software Engineers to join our growing engineering team at Givebutter. You will build tools that empower mission-driven organizations to raise more effortlessly, working across full-stack development in PHP/Laravel, React, and TypeScript.

Key Responsibilities

→Design and implement full stack features across fundraising, donor management, financial, and growth products
→Build systems that scale to handle millions of users and high-volume transactions
→Work with APIs, third-party integrations, and payment systems
→Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams
→Participate in code reviews and help evolve engineering standards
→Contribute to technical initiatives across the engineering organization
→Support production issues during business hours

Requirements

✓5+ years of software development experience, ideally with full-stack exposure and backend depth
✓Proficiency in PHP/Laravel or similar backend framework
✓Experience building frontend interfaces using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript
✓Strong understanding of relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL
✓Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party integrations, and data import/export flows
✓Familiarity with state management and frontend architecture
✓Strong debugging and performance tuning skills
✓Excellent collaboration, communication, and documentation habits
