About the Role

GLS is seeking a Software Developer to join our team. You will develop cutting-edge software, including integration microservices, productivity tools, real-time credit engines, web services, and end-user applications. This role is part of our campus recruiting and entry-level process for position offers being made for May 2026.

Key Responsibilities

→Execute the full software development life cycle (SDLC)
→Develop server-side code for high-volume web-based applications
→Create and develop web user interfaces using Javascript, HTML, CSS
→Create robust, scalable automation solutions using object-oriented programming languages
→Interpret data and analyze results using SQL
→Modify XML data using XPATH, XSLT
→Share data between services using JSON
→Document tasks, applications, and systems
→Participate in peer code reviews
→Develop and execute test plans
→Perform load-testing and feature validations
→Stay up to date on emerging technologies and best practices
→Develop performance monitoring tools
→Troubleshoot and debug existing systems
→Conduct root cause analysis

Requirements

✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering with a Software focus, or a related field
✓Proficient computer skills and ability to quickly learn new computer applications
✓Working knowledge of SQL and/or Python preferred
✓Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
✓Intrinsically motivated with demonstrated ability to take initiative
✓Exceptional interpersonal skills
