About the Role
We are seeking a Team Lead to join our Annotation's Leaderboard at Motive. This role involves overseeing and managing individuals working on Video Annotation, leading a team of 10-20 members, and ensuring the delivery of accurate and consistent annotations within SLA.
Key Responsibilities
- →Product Oversight: Assessing the scalability of annotation processes and working with the team to improve efficiency without compromising quality.
- →Create an inspiring team environment: Managing a team of up to 20 employees, keeping their morale and motivation high.
- →Effective Communication Skills: Conducting weekly sessions with the entire team and biweekly sessions with individual team members.
- →Stakeholder Communication: Working with Product, Engineering, and R&D on side projects and translating relevant information to team members.
- →Training and development: Identifying training needs and assisting team members.
- →Team performance assessment: Assessing individual and team performance and driving the team's performance to meet or exceed expectations.
- →Build and maintain a productive and fun team: Organizing social activities and ensuring a healthy team environment.
- →Work under pressure: Managing multiple projects in parallel under tight deadlines.
- →Leave Management: Managing employee time-off requests.
Requirements
- ✓BS in Engineering (Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field) and/or Business.
- ✓Previous experience in a similar role, ideally with a background in product or project management.
- ✓Knowledge of SQL and G Suite.
- ✓Strong knowledge of the company's products and processes.
- ✓Ability to translate and communicate complex information to team members.
- ✓Must be a people person, with thorough troubleshooting skills.
- ✓Possess excellent leadership skills and people management skills.
- ✓Effective team-building and morale-boosting capabilities.
- ✓Empathy and the ability to understand and motivate team members.
- ✓Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
