About the Role
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our Communications Capture team at Gong. This is a new team being built in our Dublin R&D hub, responsible for Gong's core data pipeline that ingests and captures customer interactions from various communication systems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead and expand a growing team of backend and frontend engineers
- →Manage engineering projects from conception to completion
- →Collaborate with Product Managers to shape the team’s roadmap
- →Drive continuous improvement and optimization of the team’s products and infrastructure
- →Design and architect long-term technical solutions
- →Coach, mentor, hire, and grow individuals on the team
Requirements
- ✓Previous experience leading and developing growing teams
- ✓Proven industry experience as a Senior software engineer
- ✓Strong technical background focusing on large-scale, cloud-based web applications
- ✓Proficiency in Java and related frameworks
- ✓Experience with user-facing products
- ✓Degree in computer science or a similar field
- ✓Proven experience in project management and team leadership
- ✓Passion for motivating, mentoring, and cultivating people
