University Recruiter at Govini

About the Role

We are seeking a University Relations Recruiter to play a critical role in identifying, engaging, and developing early career talent that supports Govini’s growth and mission. This role will focus on full-lifecycle recruiting for interns and early-career professionals while helping position Govini as an employer of choice across universities and academic partners nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• →Manage full-lifecycle recruiting for interns and early career candidates, partnering closely with hiring managers
• →Source and screen candidates through internal systems and external channels (campus events, social media, referrals, professional organizations)
• →Plan, coordinate, and execute campus recruiting events and academic partner engagements
• →Attract top talent and increase Govini brand awareness by eloquently and compellingly telling the Govini story
• →Partner with Senior Leadership and Workforce Planning to align Early Career recruiting strategy with Govini’s growth objectives across all teams.
• →Build and maintain strategic partnerships with university career centers, professors, research labs, and student organizations—prioritizing institutions with strong STEM, national security, defense, and analytics programs.
• →Represent Govini on campus through information sessions, networking events, technical talks, and interview days to position Govini as a mission-driven, high-impact employer within the defense technology space.
• →Travel up to 40–50% during peak recruiting seasons to represent the organization at university career fairs, networking events, information sessions, on-campus interviews, and industry conferences nationwide.
