About the Role
The Streaming Data team at Grab is seeking a Go Backend Engineer to join their "Coban" team. This role involves building infrastructure and platforms for real-time data processing, serving as Grab's unified access pattern for real-time data.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work with cross-functional engineers to make data streaming and stream processing easy across Grab
- →Own the problem space of the control plane and drive its roadmap
- →Write well-tested Go code that can be maintained by a cross-functional team
- →Participate in design discussions around platformization, infrastructure, observability, and security
- →Contribute to on-call and incident response procedures
Requirements
- ✓Experience with Go programming language
- ✓Knowledge of streaming technologies like Kafka, Flink, and Kafka Connect
- ✓Understanding of real-time data processing and infrastructure
- ✓Experience with test-driven development and maintaining code quality
- ✓Ability to work in a high-velocity environment with mission-critical systems
