About the Role
We are looking for a Sales Manager to oversee Green Thumb's growing Maryland cannabis program. This role focuses on meeting and exceeding distribution and revenue targets while maximizing the sales team's potential.
Key Responsibilities
- βOversee all functions of the sales lifecycle including forecasting, relationship management, and lead conversion
- βDevelop annual and quarterly revenue plans with the CGM
- βEnsure stores have proper inventory levels through sales tools and in-store visits
- βProvide insights on sales drivers and recommend new growth opportunities
- βAttend industry trade shows and conferences
- βPartner with Finance and Operations on forecasting, budgeting, and sales operations
- βMonitor market trends and competition
- βWork with Branding and Marketing teams on advertising strategy
Requirements
- β5+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in consumer packaged goods
- β2+ years of direct people management experience
- βKnowledge of cannabis industry regulations, market trends, and competition
- βDemonstrated experience of exceeding sales quotas
- βProven ability to build and execute a sales strategy
- βExperience with P&L and budget management
- βWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- βExperience with sales management systems like Salesforce
- βHighly motivated and able to work independently or in teams
- βAdapts and thrives in a demanding, fast-paced environment
- βMust understand and comply with cannabis laws and regulations
- βMust pass required background checks
- βMust be 21 years of age
- βMust have valid driverβs license and be approved by state badging agency
