About the Role
Halcyon is seeking a Business Development Representative to join their growing sales team. This role focuses on driving new business opportunities in the cybersecurity and ransomware protection space, with a focus on the Dubai and UAE markets.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead Generation: Prospect, identify, and qualify potential customers through inbound and outbound prospecting - calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
- →Client Engagement: Engage with decision-makers in target companies to understand their cybersecurity needs, challenges, and pain points, particularly related to ransomware threats.
- →Sales Support: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to support and execute strategies for lead generation, campaigns, and outreach.
- →Pipeline Management: Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and manage lead data within our CRM system.
- →Educate & Qualify: Provide relevant information on our ransomware protection solutions and qualify leads to determine their potential fit for our services.
- →Nurturing: Follow up with leads and ensure consistent engagement until they are ready for a deeper conversation with an Account Executive or sales team.
- →Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and ransomware threats to communicate value effectively.
Requirements
- ✓Language Skills: Business level Arabic.
- ✓1-3 years of experience in a sales development or business development role, preferably in the cybersecurity or technology industry.
- ✓Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- ✓Knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape, especially ransomware threats, is a plus.
- ✓Experience with CRM and Sales systems (Salesforce, Madkudu, Salesloft, Nooks, LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo, Gong, etc.).
- ✓Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- ✓Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- ✓Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
