About the role
Weβre looking for an experienced Marketing Manager who is a creative thinker and ruthless doer. Someone passionate to join a high performing team, enabling NZ farmers to farm the way theyβve always wanted through our digital farm operating system. This person will lead a NZ Marketing team, work collaboratively with global brand and creative teams, partner with regional sales and commercial teams, interact with our farmers (customers), plan and spearhead our participation at industry events, lead regional marketing campaign strategy and execution to drive leads through to conversion.
Youβre a strategic thinker and hands-on team mate, as comfortable speaking with customers and understanding what makes them tick, as you are investigating data, and utilizing it to drive multi-channel campaigns. This role will help run our marketing pipeline and drive leads. What your day could look like
β’ Regional Brand and Marketing Strategy: Work in partnership with commercial teams, to develop and execute the regional marketing calendar, strategy and lead your team to execution against your regional goals from awareness through to conversion.
β’ Field marketing & campaign management: Develop and execute field marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and build strong customer relationships. Prioritize insights from our customers, NZ farmers and the market to inform campaigns, social media presence, and tailored content that resonates with our target audience. Work closely with our global teams to align on messaging and brand strategies while creating content across multiple channels and establish Halter as a virtual fencing, animal monitoring and pasture management leader.
β’ Digital marketing optimization & content creation: Partner with our Global Performance team to manage our marketing funnel, from lead generation to conversion, leveraging tools like HubSpot, Salesforce to create, launch, and optimize paid and organic campaigns. Bring an analytical mindset to continuously track metrics and improve performance. Build strong content across our social media channels, newsletters, email campaigns and website.
β’ Event planning & vendor engagement: Plan and manage key industry events, from large conferences to customer-focused field days on farm. Build and strong ties with farmers, industry partners, and stakeholders to increase brand visibility, tell the Halter story and generate leads. Host events at customer farms to showcase success stories and meet prospective customers.
β’ Customer engagement: Visit farmers to connect directly with our customers, gather insights, and create authentic, valuable and relatable content. Gain a deep understanding of the needs and challenges our customers face to inform messaging.
β’ Collaborating: Work cross-functionally with sales, product, and global marketing teams to deliver successful marketing campaigns. Adapt quickly to changes in a fast-paced environment, embracing new ideas and continuously innovating to meet the evolving needs of our customers and industry.
Who are we looking for
β’ Marketing and brand acumen: You bring 5+ years of experience in marketing. Youβre willing to dive into any marketing initiative, with a deep understanding of tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, HubSpot, Salesforce, and SEMrush.
β’ Proactive & results-driven: You are a self-starter with a demonstrated ability to independently drive marketing initiatives and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can prioritize tasks based on overall team goals.
β’ Team-oriented: You are a true team player who thrives in a collaborative, humble, and accountable environment. Youβre eager to learn and grow alongside your colleagues, sharing knowledge and best practices to elevate the team as a whole. Your ability to adapt and stay agile in a fast-moving environment makes you a key contributor to the success of the broader team.
