About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Geometric Scene Understanding team in Paris. This role involves transforming complex mathematical research into mission-critical production software for defense systems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Architect and build a software pipeline to ingest, decode, and synchronize multi-drone video streams and telemetry data
- →Profile CV algorithms and rewrite bottlenecks using GPU acceleration (CUDA, Vulkan, or TensorRT) and CPU multi-threading
- →Implement efficient 3D data structures like Octrees or Voxel grids for point cloud and mesh storage
- →Translate Python/PyTorch prototypes into production-grade C++ code
- →Deploy builds to physical tactical PCs for real-world performance monitoring
Requirements
- ✓BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- ✓Strong foundational knowledge of Linear Algebra, 3D Geometry, and Computer Architecture
- ✓Absolute mastery of C++ and low-level memory management
- ✓Deep expertise in GPU programming (writing custom CUDA kernels)
- ✓Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in shipping high-performance software
- ✓Track record of optimizing complex algorithms for edge devices or embedded systems
- ✓Ability to design ingestion buffers for asynchronous, high-bandwidth data streams
- ✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills
