About the Role
We are looking for a Data Operations Analyst to join Harvey, a company transforming legal and professional services through frontier agentic AI and an enterprise-grade platform. This role will support and eventually own a lightweight data governance program, ensuring data quality and consistency across business systems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work with a cross-functional team to define and document canonical business terms, metrics, and entities
- →Maintain a lightweight data catalog and ensure definitions stay up to date as systems evolve
- →Support alignment across teams on how key data is interpreted and used
- →Write SQL to build and maintain operational datasets and reports for core business systems
- →Identify data anomalies, inconsistencies, or breaks in expected behavior and help diagnose root causes
- →Partner with business system owners to improve data reliability and observability
- →Monitor data quality and system health through automated checks and recurring reporting
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience in a data, analytics, business analysis, or similar role
- ✓Strong SQL skills and comfort working with relational data
- ✓Experience building reports or datasets from business systems (e.g., CRM, marketing, finance tools)
- ✓Clear written communication skills for documenting definitions and processes
- ✓Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, especially with non-technical teams
- ✓Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and global environment
