About the Role
We are looking for a commercially astute and data-driven Commercial Finance Manager to join our UK and Ireland finance team. This role goes beyond number crunching, serving as a key partner to operational leaders and providing strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build strong relationships with Ops Directors and senior managers across fulfillment and logistics teams
- →Interpret complex data sources to produce meaningful business insights, explaining the 'why' and 'what next'
- →Evaluate new cost-saving initiatives, commercial partnerships, and revenue opportunities with a focus on ROI
- →Generate reliable, data-driven forecasts while challenging assumptions and driving continuous improvement
- →Lead the Month End accounting process for operations, ensuring accuracy in management reporting
- →Support the coaching and development of our senior financial analyst
- →Advocate for challenging the status quo and optimizing workflows
Requirements
- ✓Qualified accountant with 2-3 years of PQ experience
- ✓Experience in physical product-based businesses (manufacturing, operational environments, FMCG, etc.)
- ✓Highly commercial with strong financial literacy and experience managing simultaneous deadlines
- ✓Experience designing, developing, or maintaining structured scenario planning models
- ✓Continuous improvement mindset focused on financial and operational performance
- ✓Aptitude for managing large/complex datasets with knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google workspace tools
- ✓SQL exposure is advantageous
