About the Role

We are looking for a Refrigeration Program Manager to join HelloFresh, the industry leader in meal-kit subscription services. This role involves driving performance metrics for refrigeration systems across multiple facilities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and developing maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities

→Maintain compliance with all safety, food safety, and security standards
→Create and execute training classes for technicians
→Review and provide input on vendor quotes and service level agreements
→Implement multi-facility planned maintenance programs for HVAC and refrigeration systems
→Travel to multiple locations to provide instructor-led training
→Drive regulatory compliance on EPA and OSHA regulations
→Develop and implement strategies for refrigerant and HVACR spare parts
→Ensure accurate maintenance of EPA refrigerant logs
→Document all work in CMMS and ticketing systems
→Mentor maintenance personnel in developing appropriate skill sets
→Partner with construction on commissioning of new systems
→Audit vendor work and provide feedback on quality
→Write and modify PMs to standardize across the network
→Oversee building project work as assigned

Requirements

✓8-10 years of experience with large commercial and industrial refrigeration systems
✓3-5 years of leadership experience
✓Advanced understanding of rack system refrigeration and associated equipment
✓EPA Section 608 certification and ability to certify MRE technicians
✓Excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices
✓Ability to conform to OSHA, PSM, HAZMAT, and HelloFresh safety programs
✓Understanding of proper handling and recycling procedures for refrigerants
✓Advanced computer skills
✓Knowledge of general construction standards and techniques
✓Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics, and diagrams
✓In-depth experience with HVACR systems, controls, refrigerant handling, and troubleshooting
✓Ability to travel up to 50% for business purposes
✓High School diploma or equivalent
✓Ability to motivate learning and thrive in a teaching/training role
✓Acute understanding of electro-mechanical circuitry
✓Excellent follow through, judgment, and common sense
