About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead complex, large-scale projects within the Grid Integration Business Unit at Hitachi Digital Services. This role focuses on managing digital/engineering transformation projects within the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead full lifecycle project execution from initiation to commissioning and handover
- →Act as primary interface with customers, suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- →Develop and maintain detailed project execution plans, schedules, cost baselines, and execution across product and engineering teams
- →Manage project budgets, forecasting, cost controls, and margin improvements
- →Oversee contract management, claims management, and change orders
- →Ensure delivery within scope, budget, timeline, and quality parameters
- →Monitor KPIs and implement corrective measures when required
- →Break down requirements into actionable tasks and maintain sprint boards and backlogs
- →Document project decisions, updates, and action items
- →Identify blockers early and escalate appropriately
- →Coordinate meetings, stand-ups, and sprint ceremonies
Requirements
- ✓12-15 years of experience in project management within power systems, grid integration, or energy infrastructure
- ✓Strong experience in managing large digital/engineering transformation projects within the energy sector
- ✓Deep understanding of grid technologies and cross-functional stakeholder management
- ✓Experience collaborating with Architects and Business Analysts
