About the Role
We are looking for an Azure Data Architect to design and implement end-to-end data solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role focuses on creating scalable data architectures that support large-scale data processing and analytics workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and implement data solutions including data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT processes
- →Develop scalable data architectures for large-scale data processing and analytics
- →Ensure high performance, security, and compliance in Azure data solutions
- →Evaluate and choose appropriate Azure services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Factory
- →Work with business and technical teams to translate data needs into robust architecture solutions
- →Optimize cloud-based data infrastructure for performance and cost-effectiveness
- →Provide expertise and leadership to development teams
- →Collaborate with Data Scientists and Analysts to align data architectures with business goals
Requirements
- ✓8-14 years of experience in data architecture
- ✓Deep knowledge of Azure data services including Azure SQL Database, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake Storage, Databricks, and Data Factory
- ✓Experience with data governance, privacy, and compliance requirements
- ✓Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, or Scala
- ✓Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline development
- ✓Data modeling skills with ability to convert OLTP structures into Star Schema
- ✓Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau
- ✓Experience with tools like ER Studio or Erwin for data modeling
- ✓Excellent communication and collaboration skills
