About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join H&M Group. You will turn vast amounts of data into meaningful insights and solutions that make an impact on a global scale, collaborating with business and tech teams to solve complex problems using advanced analytics, modeling, and machine learning.

Key Responsibilities

→Contribute to and potentially lead the short- and long-term data science agenda within a product team
→Collaborate with machine learning and data engineers to design, build, and deploy machine learning products that scale globally
→Help colleagues and stakeholders understand algorithms and decisions made by AI systems
→Explore large, complex data assets to uncover insights that drive business value
→Develop tools and frameworks for common machine learning needs like model traceability, feature reuse, and A/B testing

Requirements

✓A degree in applied mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering, or a similar field and a strong desire to keep learning
✓Solid foundational knowledge of machine learning and statistics
✓Ability to independently implement algorithms and models, contributing to production-level code
✓Background in agile environments with strong team collaboration and data-driven development
✓Experience working with production-level machine learning systems and solid understanding of optimization problems
