About the Role
We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team at Housecall Pro. This role focuses on developing and executing automated tests to ensure product quality for our SaaS platform that helps home service professionals manage their businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools
- →Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, including functional, regression, performance, and integration testing
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage aligns with product requirements
- →Identify, document, and track bugs through issue-tracking systems
- →Conduct manual testing to ensure product functionality and user experience meet standards
- →Implement and improve continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) testing pipelines
- →Analyze test results, perform root cause analysis of failures, and suggest improvements
- →Maintain and update automated testing frameworks to increase coverage and efficiency
- →Conduct API testing and work closely with developers to verify back-end functionality
Requirements
- ✓4+ years of experience in quality assurance or software testing with a focus on test automation
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- ✓Proficiency in automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript)
- ✓Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking
- ✓Experience with CI/CD tools and frameworks (Jenkins, GitLab)
- ✓Experience with AI-driven testing tools and LLMs to automate test case generation
- ✓Strong analytical & problem solving, documentation, and communication skills
- ✓Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- ✓Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- ✓A proactive mindset towards learning new tools and technologies
- ✓Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment
