About the Role

We are looking for an AI Engineer to join the AIMS (AI Marketing Solutions) team at HubSpot. This role involves developing AI-powered tools that drive business impact in marketing applications, working at the intersection of AI, engineering, and marketing innovation.

Key Responsibilities

→Develop and deploy software and cloud-based infrastructure for AI-driven marketing applications
→Partner with marketers and product stakeholders to translate ideas into prototypes and scalable AI tools
→Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Python
→Design and implement data pipelines, retrieval systems (RAG), and multi-agent workflows leveraging LLMs
→Evaluate emerging AI technologies and test concepts to inform HubSpot’s marketing innovation roadmap
→Assess AI project ideas for technical feasibility, scalability, and business impact
→Document AI systems, architectural decisions, and best practices
→Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
→Collaborate across engineering, data science, and marketing teams
→Contribute to a culture of experimentation and technical excellence

Requirements

✓2+ years of professional software development experience
✓Strong proficiency in backend development using Node.js and/or Python
✓Experience building and consuming REST APIs and working with databases
✓Experience applying Generative AI concepts (LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, multi-agent systems)
✓Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
✓Familiarity with marketing technology ecosystems
✓Experience using version control systems (Git)
✓Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
