About the Role
We are looking for an Analytics Engineer to join HubSpot's Company Pillar Data Operations team. This role involves building and maintaining a modern data foundation that supports analysis and internal data products across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- โBuild and maintain scalable data models in dbt that support reporting and analysis across Company Pillar teams
- โDevelop well-structured, reusable datasets in Snowflake
- โBuild and maintain reporting assets in Looker to enable self-serve analytics
- โSupport internal teams by improving data definitions, reliability, and usability
- โAssist with root-cause analysis of data issues and implement sustainable fixes
- โStrengthen documentation around data models, definitions, and requirements
Requirements
- โ1+ years of hands-on SQL experience
- โStrong understanding of relational databases and data modeling
- โHands-on experience using dbt to create data pipelines
- โAbility to write and maintain clear technical documentation
- โStrong problem-solving skills and curiosity to learn new tools and business domains
- โExperience with Snowflake, dbt, and/or Looker is a plus
