Note: This is a six-month fixed term contract.
The mission of the Localization team is to transform how HubSpot grows internationally. By providing transparent, high-quality localization services, the team empowers and enables HubSpotβs global customers and internal departments. The project manager plays a pivotal role in supporting internal HubSpot teams and partners, coordinating with internal linguistic experts, and liaising with external translation vendors.
Challenge
You will contribute to HubSpotβs globalization by advocating for a company-wide βglobal firstβ approach. Project management is critical to get the massive amount of content that HubSpot produces into other languages. Planning and coordination are vital to successful localization project delivery.
Responsibilities
β’ Liaise with HubSpotters, across the business, to scope, package, execute, manage and deliver localization projects.
β’ Communicate proactively with all process participants throughout the project lifecycle.
β’ Develop and manage positive relationship with translation agency partners.
β’ Nurture relationships with HubSpotters in order to serve as the βvoice for our global customerβ in company initiatives.
β’ Document and support optimization of localization project management workflows.
β’ Report on opportunities to help improve and create an increasingly efficient and automated localization system.
β’ Follow established processes and be a proactive Team Player focused on supporting more senior team members.
β’ Support the localization team in ensuring budgetary adherence for project-based quotes as well as overall quarterly program spend.
Qualifications
β’ Demonstrated project management experience, 1+ years, in either a translation agency, localization agency or in-house localization team.
β’ Vendor management experience and ability to build working relationships with vendor representatives.
β’ Knowledge of standard CMS, TMS, CAT & TM Tools.
β’ Experience with marketing content localization, ideally, with familiarity of inbound marketing and other online marketing techniques.
β’ Knowledge of inbound marketing and marketing content localization.
β’ Experience working in a global team & ability to be a self-starter.
β’ Knowledge of project management / issue tracking software
