About the Role
The Security Operations Center Analyst at Copperleaf plays a critical role in protecting their global SaaS platform and customer environments. This position requires deep technical expertise in cloud-centric security operations and advanced detection and response capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead complex security investigations across Azure-hosted environments, identity systems, and product infrastructure
- →Mentor junior analysts and drive team maturity in cloud security and detection engineering
- →Create detections mapped to MITRE ATT&CK for cloud and SaaS environments
- →Analyze logs from Azure Monitor, Entra ID, Kubernetes clusters, and application services
- →Develop and refine KQL queries, automation workflows, and SOAR playbooks
- →Track emerging threats relevant to SaaS providers and cloud platforms
- →Collaborate with Security Engineering, CloudOps, IT, and Incident Response teams
Requirements
- ✓Deep technical expertise in cloud-centric security operations
- ✓Strong familiarity with enterprise technologies supporting SaaS environments
- ✓Experience with Azure, Azure AD/Entra ID, and Kubernetes
- ✓Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework
- ✓Proficiency in KQL queries and automation workflows
- ✓Understanding of threat hunting methodologies
- ✓Experience with SOAR platforms and detection engineering
