About the Role
We are looking for a Surety Account Specialist to join IMA Financial Group, Inc. This role involves supporting contract and commercial surety accounts, reviewing bond requests, and maintaining client files.
Key Responsibilities
- →Review and approve new and renewal bond requests, consents, and riders
- →Execute bonds after they are prepared by SAR
- →Provide backup support for document preparation
- →Set up and maintain financial underwriting, SuretyWave, ImageRight, and EPIC files for new clients
- →Follow up on contracts, financial statements, and other underwriting information
- →Analyze underwriting details with guidance from SAM and AE
- →Support team by completing project and account duties
- →Assist with department administrative tasks
Requirements
- ✓2-3 years of surety experience
- ✓Two-year college or bachelor’s degree preferred
- ✓Current Resident State Property and Casualty Insurance license required
- ✓Detail-oriented with strong priority management skills
- ✓Strong communication skills with external and internal clients
- ✓Experience with problem solving and intermediate mathematics
- ✓Proficiency with MS Office products and surety-specific software
- ✓Driver’s license required
