About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Trainer to join our team at Inductive Automation. This role involves developing and delivering technical course material on Ignition software, maintaining certification, and providing technical assistance throughout the company.
Key Responsibilities
- →Deliver customer-facing beginner level Ignition training courses
- →Deliver training courses both virtually and in person
- →Communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- →Prepare and clean up both virtual and in-house classrooms
- →Build Ignition knowledge to handle all customer questions in beginner classes
- →Provide learning resources and guidance to employees
- →Administer Ignition certification and assist with certification issues
- →Assist with other training projects or tasks as assigned
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in a Technical or Instructional field OR at least 4 years of relevant technical education experience
- ✓2+ years experience with classroom and eLearning instructional development or delivery
- ✓Ability to convey a large variety of technical concepts clearly and succinctly
- ✓Positive interpersonal and communication skills
- ✓Familiarity with a programming language (Python, Java, C++, etc)
- ✓Familiarity with SQL
- ✓Ability to write effective documentation for processes and procedures
- ✓Enthusiasm for teaching
- ✓Experience with Ignition is a plus
- ✓Experience teaching programming classes is a plus
