About the Role

The department manages critical infrastructure components including servers, databases, middleware, storage, and operating systems. This role focuses on Oracle and PostgreSQL database administration across Europe, ensuring stable, resilient, and performant DBA services for business operations.

Key Responsibilities

→Administer Oracle and PostgreSQL databases in European scope
→Provide production support for all Oracle and PostgreSQL databases
→Create new databases and environments in an extended RAC environment
→Set up services for applications with specific requirements
→Guarantee reliability and participate in measures to avoid production downtime
→Solve production downtimes competently and promptly
→Convert Oracle CDB/PDB databases
→Analyze and define cardinalities for old applications on RAC
→Participate in release assignments and database team projects
→Analyze security gaps and develop solutions
→Analyze and fix performance issues
→Optimize database monitoring
→Set up backup and ensure fast recovery times
→Onboard new DB users to CyberArk
→Support Oracle Apex application and participate in patching
→Contribute to Database Information System (DBI) development
→Evaluate DB parameters and automate changes
→Provide Views and Selects for database information systems
→Develop Ansible scripts for inline patching
→Participate in Oracle database patching
→Ensure Git versioning
→Standardize Oratab and Oracle Home settings
→Adapt scripts for Cloud Move
→Automate environment setups
→Maintain high availability environment
→Collaborate with technical peers to enhance service stability and performance
→Communicate clearly with management team
→Follow ITIL methodology in all areas

Requirements

✓Experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases
✓Knowledge of RAC environments
✓Familiarity with CyberArk and Oracle Apex
✓Experience with Ansible and Git
✓Understanding of ITIL methodology
✓Ability to work in a high-availability environment
