About the Role

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to lead and execute BOAT International’s multi-platform social media strategy across various platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, WhatsApp, and emerging platforms. This role involves developing platform-specific growth strategies, collaborating cross-functionally with editorial, commercial, content, design, video, and events teams to ensure cohesive brand storytelling and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

→Lead, develop and execute BOAT International’s multi-platform social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, WhatsApp, Threads and emerging platforms, optimising performance through data-led insights.
→Own platform-specific growth strategies, audience acquisition targets and commercial KPIs across all brand channels, with clear accountability for measurable performance outcomes.
→Collaborate cross-functionally with editorial, commercial, content, design, video and events teams to ensure cohesive brand storytelling and strategic growth.
→Create and oversee compelling, platform-specific content including static posts, carousels, Reels, Stories and video assets.
→Manage the social content calendar and oversee day-to-day brand representation across all channels.
→Adapt editorial, print and commercial content for social media, using analytics and performance data to refine campaigns and inform strategy.
→Translate data insights into actionable optimisation strategies, continuously refining content, targeting and distribution to drive audience growth and revenue impact.
→Oversee community management, including responding to comments and DMs, while maintaining the brand voice and protecting BOAT’s reputation.
→Monitor social media trends, share best practices and ensure the team stays updated on platform developments and opportunities.

Requirements

✓Proven Onsite Event Experience: Background in planning and executing social media for high-profile events.
✓Luxury Expertise: Demonstrated success in managing social media for luxury events, with an understanding of the expectations and preferences of high-net-worth individuals.
✓Social Media Strategy Expertise: Deep knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices, with a track record of developing and executing successful strategies.
✓Paid and Sponsorship Activations: Experience in managing paid social media campaigns and collaborating with sponsors to deliver impactful activations.
✓Strong Communication Skills: Ability to conduct briefing meetings, present social media plans, and communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
✓Leadership and Team Management: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams (onsite and internal), ensuring collaboration and high-quality output.
✓Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in using analytics tools to measure social media performance and provide actionable insights.
✓High Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to planning, content creation, and execution to ensure alignment with brand standards and event goals.
