Insify is looking for a smart, ambitious, and relentlessly driven Chief of Staff to join our team. In this high-visibility role, you will report directly to the CEO/Founder and partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure our most critical strategic initiatives are executed with excellence. If you are a high-impact operator ready to shape the future of Insify, we want to meet you.
Â
As Chief of Staff, you will act as a strategic "firefighter" and project lead, flying into different departments to solve our most complex bottlenecks. Your mission is to move the needle on high-impact initiatives where the path forward isn't yet defined.

About Insify
Â
We are a high-growth scale-up backed by €43M in total funding from world-class investors like Accel, Munich Re Ventures, and Formula 1 champion Nico Rosberg. While we started our journey five years ago in the Netherlands, we have since expanded into France and Germany, and we’re just getting started. Our mission is to dominate the European market and become a global leader in AI-powered SME insurance.
Â
We aren't just building a company; we’re leading a revolution. Our culture is intense, high-stakes, and mission-driven. We hire smart, ambitious "owners" who possess a relentless drive to win. This is an environment for those who thrive on challenges, value intellectual honesty, and share our mindset of becoming a global category leader.
Â
Our founding team consists of seasoned entrepreneurs who have previously built iconic businesses like HelloFresh, Bloomon, and SumUp. We combine that deep fintech and e-commerce expertise with cutting-edge AI to stay ahead of the curve.
What you'll be doing:
Insify is looking for an entrepreneurial and analytical Product Manager to drive the growth and evolution of our Property & Casualty (P&C) portfolio. This role focuses on the essential "bread and butter" products for SMEs: including General Liability, Professional Indemnity, and Property insurance.
Unlike traditional PM roles, you won't just be managing features; you will be the "CEO" of your products. You will bridge the gap between complex insurance logic and a seamless digital user experience. You use your deep understanding of our customers and data native approach to translate technical policy wordings and insurance products into automated underwriting flows and digital-first customer journeys taking away the complexity for our customers.
This is a perfect role for someone with a background in business operations, consulting, or insurance who wants to move into a high-growth tech environment and take tangible ownership of a product's performance.
What you’ll be up to (some examples):
• Drive Product Strategy: Manage the roadmap for your products, ensuring they remain competitive, compliant, and easy to purchase online.
• Optimize the Funnel: Use data to identify friction points in the application process and work with Design and Tech to improve conversion rates.
• Scale New Markets: Support the launch of our digital proposition into new European markets, adapting local requirements into our scalable core platform.
• Stakeholder Management: Coordinate between Insurance, Tech, Marketing, and Customer Ops to ensure a unified product vision and smooth execution.
• Monitor Performance: Track loss ratios, retention, and customer feedback to iterate on the product and pricing strategy.
This role is a strong fit if you are a "doer" who loves to solve puzzles. You can dive deep into the fine print of an insurance policy one hour and brainstorm a new UI flow with a developer the next.
Specifically, you bring:
• 2–4 years of experience in a high-growth startup or strategy consulting (Insurance, Fintech, or E-commerce preferred).
• Analytical Rigor: You are comfortable with Excel/data tools and use metrics to back up your decisions.
• Product Curiosity: You don't need to be a coder, but you should be excited about how APIs, automated underwriting, and LLMs can transform insurance.
• Bias for Action: You prefer "shipping and iterating" over "analyzing and waiting."
• Communication: Excellent English skills (Dutch, German, or French is a major plus given our European footprint).
• Educational Background: A degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
Who this is not for:
• You prioritize a 40-hour work week: We operate in a high-intensity 'startup-plus' environment. This isn't a standard 9-to-5; driving global impact here requires a level of dedication and 'always-on' spirit that goes well beyond the typical 40-hour work week.
• You prefer your comfort zone: We operate at the edge of our capabilities; if you aren't comfortable with constant change and being challenged, you won’t thrive here.
• You prefer to stay high-level: While this is a strategic role, no task is too small. If you aren't willing to roll up your sleeves and get into the "weeds" of execution, this isn't the right fit.
• A steep learning curve feels daunting: We move fast and use cutting-edge AI; you need to be an aggressive self-learner who can master new domains in days, not months.
What we offer:
• Competitive compensation - we want to attract and retain the best so we are offering a compensation package that aligns with that.
• In-office - come join us in our HQ in the center of Amsterdam.
• Grow in a growing company - there’s no better place to develop your talents and learn new skills. Help us show the world that insurance can be simple, transparent and trustworthy.
• Experienced entrepreneurs - work with experienced and dedicated entrepreneurs as part of an international team.
• Energetic environment - as a start-up, we’re different from your usual insurers. We scale rapidly and you can pick your own initiatives, helping us grow as we help more and more customers across Europe.
Our culture (read this carefully)
We’re not just building a company, we’re building a category leader. That comes with ambition, responsibility, and pace.
Our culture is defined by three things:
• High ownership
People own problems end-to-end. If something is unclear or broken, we don’t wait - we step in and fix it.
• High pace
Priorities shift, and decisions are made quickly. We value momentum and learning over perfection.
• High standards
Outcomes matter more than optics. We care about results, quality, and follow-through.
At the same time, you won’t be doing this alone.
We believe great work happens through close collaboration. We work in-person, challenge each other’s ideas, and expect contributions from everywhere, regardless of title or tenure. The best ideas often come from unexpected places, and we create space for them to surface.
This is a human-sized company. You’ll know the people you work with, you’ll be able to walk over to anyone to ask a question or test an idea, and you’ll be part of the day-to-day energy of building together: from whiteboard discussions to shared lunches, dogs in the office, and moments to pause and reset.
We hire smart, ambitious people who think like owners, value intellectual honesty, and are motivated by impact rather than comfort. If you enjoy challenge, responsibility, and building something meaningful with others, you’ll likely thrive here.
If you’re looking for predictability, narrow scopes, or a guaranteed 9-to-5, this likely won’t be the right fit - and that’s okay. We’d rather be honest upfront.
