Role
The People team aims to continuously deliver Intrinsic's core People services with security, quality, consistency, and empathy. We design programs and processes from a user-first mindset with a bias for simplicity to make working at Intrinsic an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
In this role, you'll lead the People Programs and Operations team, whose goal is to keep our world-class talent at Intrinsic. To accomplish this, you'll design, build, and maintain the infrastructure, processes, and programs needed to further establish Intrinsic as a highly desirable place to work. You will have an opportunity to define the strategy that will lead Intrinsic into the future and then execute on that strategy to help scale the business.
How your work moves the mission forward
β’ Deliver Effective People Programs - Manage and improve our Performance Management, Promotion, and Engagement programs, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the company. Work directly with senior stakeholders to understand requirements and develop scalable solutions.
β’ Lead Operationally Excellent People Operations - Ensure all core People and HR services work smoothly and efficiently for our employees and people managers (e.g. Onboarding, Relocation, Internal Mobility, Exits). Set goals and KPIs, simplify, optimize, and automate processes, implement robust knowledge management, and ensure we learn from each mistake or unexpected situation.
β’ Improve our Infrastructure - Own our HR technology roadmap, choosing and building solutions that meet the needs of our business and employees today and as we grow. Utilize the latest technologies to enable the team to focus their energies on high-leverage opportunities.
β’ Measure our Progress - Improve our reporting on programs and recurring processes. Communicate relevant insights and decisions to team and company leadership.
Ensure Compliance - Liaise with Intrinsicβs Legal team to implement necessary regulatory requirements and controls. Lead compliance initiatives that cascade down from Google.
Skills you will need to be successful
β’ 10 years of experience in an HR/People Operations environment with broad knowledge across the employee lifecycle, including HR compliance.
β’ Mission-first, user-first attitude and approach.
β’ Clear and direct communication.
β’ Ability to manage complex projects across multiple functions.
β’ Ability to influence and drive results across all levels of the organization.
β’ Analytical skills (in Google Sheets or similar) that will allow you to independently run operations, turn data into insights, and separate signal from noise .
β’ Well-organized with high attention to detail, ensuring critical employee data is always correct.
Skills that will differentiate your candidacy
β’ Knowledge of employment norms and regulations across the United States, Germany, Singapore, Switzerland, and Canada.
β’ More advanced analytical skills (in SQL or similar) that enable you to connect backend employee data and build dashboards and automated reporting.
β’ Familiarity with best-in-class tools, vendors, and partners across the People and HR space.
