About the Role

We are looking for a Staff Technical Program Manager to join IonQ’s Quantum Applications team. This role focuses on delivering the world’s best quantum solutions in life sciences using IonQ’s quantum computers to solve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities

→Drive efficient end-to-end delivery of novel quantum HCLS applications built for IonQ quantum computers.
→Lead the transition of technology and capabilities from R&D to commercialization.
→Create and manage timelines of complex projects, ensuring dependencies are met and resources are aligned.
→Conduct risk analysis and develop risk mitigation plans.
→Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment and support.
→Maintain operational rigor while reducing waste.
→Work with project, contracting, legal, finance, and sales teams to ensure compliance.
→Drive quality control and devops processes.
→Accommodate occasional travel and flexible work hours.

Requirements

✓B.S. in physics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or another technical domain.
✓Demonstrated experience working with clients to co-develop advanced computational modeling solutions.
✓Experience delivering complex innovative projects with an R&D component.
✓Experience in information technology or R&D in the HCLS domain.
✓Experience leading complex projects using project management tools.
✓Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
✓Strong commitment to customer advocacy and success.
✓Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
