About the Role

IonQ is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to join our team developing the world's most powerful quantum computers. This role involves leading cross-functional teams to advance technology development and ensure seamless integration into future product lines.

Key Responsibilities

→Strategic Program Leadership: Develop and manage technology development and integration, aligning with business objectives and product timelines.
→Cross-Functional Team Enablement: Facilitate evaluation of technology development choices and their impact on the program.
→Project Execution and Delivery: Manage timelines, budgets, risks, and resources effectively to ensure successful project execution.
→Situational Team Leadership: Provide leadership to teams, setting clear expectations and removing obstacles.
→Clear and Concise Communication: Communicate program status, risks, and mitigation plans regularly to stakeholders.

Requirements

✓Prior experience in Technical Program Management for high-performing teams.
✓Advanced degree in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
✓8+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager for hardware-focused programs.
✓Strong leadership and communication skills.
✓Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
✓Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
✓Passion for quantum computing.
✓U.S. Person required.
✓Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
